Staging Area Shuttle to Galesville

For those of you that are flying into Madison or need a ride to the staging area in Galesville from Madison we will again offer the Staging Area Shuttle.

For those flying into Madison
We'd advise you to fly into Madison on Friday, July 4. This leaves yourself plenty of time in case of a delayed flight. We recommend flying into and out of the Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) This is the closest airport with the best connections.

There is an airport shuttle from Dane County Regional Airport to the Best Western InnTowner,  2424 University Avenue, Madison, WI 608-233-8778. This is the Staging Area Shuttle pickup up point.

For those not flying
The Staging Area Shuttle pickup will be in front of the Best Western InnTowner. You should make arrangements to arrive by the departure time. The Best Western InnTowner has been designated the official Madison motel for The Bike Northwoods Tour.  If you are staying at another motel, you should make arrangements to arrive by the departure time. We suggest that you make your reservations early as motels will fill up in Madison.

The Staging Area Shuttle will drive, (people luggage and bikes), up to the staging area on Saturday, July 5. We leave at 7am sharp. It is about a 3 hour drive. We will also take you, your luggage and bike back to Madison at the end of the tour on Friday, July 11. We should arrive back in Madison by about 9pm. The shuttle fee is $40 per person.

Pre-Ride Camping Option
Camping at the staging area the night before registration will be available for an additional fee, however, showers are not available.

If you are shipping your bike 
Bicycles can be shipped via UPS or FedEx to Wheel & Sprocket. They are the bike shop that will be supporting the tour. Wheel and Sprocket will bring your bike to the start. Make arrangements with them to ship your bike out at the end of the tour. Check with them for details about shipping your bike. Email noel.kegel@wheelandsprocket.net

To sign up for the shuttle, please fill out the Staging Area Shuttle Registration form and send it with the fee of $40.00. Click here.
You must make your own motel reservations by calling Best Western InnTowner or any other motel.  You must pre-register for the shuttle.  No day-of-event signups will be allowed.  We must have an exact count of the people on the shuttle.
